Akershus Energi

Bøhnsdalen power station is located on the Andelva river which runs out of Lake Hurdalssjøen into the Vorma river in Eidsvold Municipality. The power station was completed and became operational in 1986. Hafslund power station acquired five power stations on the Andelva river in 1993. Akershus Energi took over Bøhnsdalen power station in 1999.

It is the dam”Sagdammen” which regulates Lake Hurdalssjøen and, with that, the discharge flow in the Andelva river. From 2001 on, the owner association Glommen og Laagen Brukseierforening is responsible for the regulation.
